Hi, How are you? How is your week? Are you already making plans for the weekend? Today I want to give you a SUPER news. I started a series of weekly videos on the subject of healthy baking. Through these materials I want to create awareness and education on this beautiful subject, of healthy baking. What do you say? Do you like the idea? I want you to know more about the following topics. 1. What are the ingredients in healthy confectionery? 2. How to use them? 3. What are the news in the field? 4. Q&A with the answers to your questions. The first topic I chose to debate today is gluten-free flour, and especially green banana flour (or plantain flour). I thought it was great when I found out that green banana flour exists. I find it a very interesting product. I have to admit I was very excited. In short: 1. It is a gluten-free flour, suitable for a gluten intolerance. 2. It has a low glycemic index, so it is suitable for people who have problems with the blood sugar. 3. It is rich in fibers and potassium. 4. It has a slight banana taste, but is not very obvious. It is obtained by grinding the green bananas, so the starch has not yet turned into sugar. 5. It can be used in various mixes for cakes, muffins and other products with fine consistency. But these and many more, as well as how to use it you can find out in the following VIDEO. You will also find out more about how you can replace in your recipes, the white flour with gluten-free flour, made from green bananas. Enjoy watching it!
What do you think? Do you like green banana flour? Will you use it in your gluten-free products? Send me an email and tell me what you think about it.
I will be waiting for your answer and I promise that I will respond to all emails with the greatest pleasure.
I wish you a wonderful day!
